Clamping system SZ
The clamping chuck is designed for turning the outer contour and for drilling the workpiece.
Functional description:
The inner collet (system SZ) is released via a spring assembly by actuating the draw bar on the machine side. This action centres the housing and pulls it flat against the end stop. The main clamping is effected via the outer collet (system SZ) by overcoming the idle stroke. The clamping range is very narrow and is interrupted by milled clearances.Advantages:- The end stop is equipped with air system control- Two independent clamping levels for accurate and repeatable workpiece alignment- Both collets with wear protection thanks to Hardit-coating
